Ten Kenyan startups will be among the twenty (20) African tech ventures selected to pitch their business ideas at the upcoming Angel Fair Africa event in Nairobi.
The event, scheduled for November 7-8, will be held at Two Rivers International Finance and Innovation Centre, bringing together early-stage startups and more established scale-ups seeking investment.
Kenyan startups VunaPay, NoMa, and Zopa254 will be vying for angel, pre-seed, and seed funding on the first day of the event.
Other participating countries include Ghana with BenBen and Lastmal, South Africa with Ejoobi and Hitherroad, Uganda with Karaa, Mozambique with Goodbite, and Nigeria with Wenzo.
On the second day, five Kenyan scale-ups – Check-Ups Med, Chumz, Save App, EpiCenter Africa, and Twiva will also pitch to investors seeking seed, Series A, and Series B funding.
The remaining scale-ups are MojaRide and DigiTech from Ivory Coast, PayAngel from Ghana, KilimoFresh from Tanzania, and HouseAfrica from Nigeria.
Angel Fair Africa, organized by Chanzo Capital in collaboration with Startupbootcamp AfriTech, MEST Africa, Antler, iHub, and GrowthAfrica, will be held at the Two Rivers International Finance and Innovation Centre.

Angel Fair Africa, a premier event for African tech startups and scale-ups. This marks the event’s first appearance in the Kenyan capital since 2016.
Since its inception in 2013, Angel Fair Africa has been hosted in various African cities, including Johannesburg, Lagos, Accra, Abidjan, Maputo, Dar es Salaam, Mauritius, and Cape Town.
