Safaricom has launched a new online gaming challenge called “Wai Ndai.”
This 90-day competition (November 16, 2024, to February 15, 2025) features simple puzzle, arcade and action games.
Players can compete for daily cash voucher prizes totaling Ksh500,000, with three winners every day for 90 days. The ultimate goal? To drive away with one of three brand new Suzuki Alto cars – with a winner chosen each month!
How to Play
Joining the fun is easy! Sign up for the “Challenges Arena” for just KES 10 daily. You can do this by visiting the website, dialing the USSD code *555#, or using the MySafaricom app.
“We’re excited to launch the ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge,” said Fawzia Ali, Chief Consumer Business Officer at Safaricom PLC. “Our goal is to create a fun and engaging gaming experience for our young customers, keeping them entertained while offering the chance to win amazing prizes.”
Rack Up Points and Climb the Leaderboard
For participants, your gaming skills will be put to the test! Points are awarded based on how well you complete the games. Keep an eye on the public leaderboard to track your progress and see how you stack up against other challengers.
The top three players each day will win cash vouchers! First place takes home Ksh3,000, second place wins Ksh2,000, and third place gets Ksh1,000. But that’s not all! The ultimate champion each month will be rewarded with the grand prize – a brand new Suzuki Alto!
The “Wai Ndai” Challenge was unveiled at the inaugural Safaricom Hook Circle Praktiklz bootcamp held at Nakuru Athletics Club.
This bootcamp offered young people the chance to connect with mentors and experts from various creative fields like music, art, fashion, dance, and of course, gaming.
The launch marks the beginning of a series of “Wai Ndai” activations planned for universities, colleges, and hotspots across the country.
Celebrating 24 Years with Sambaza Furaha
The telco states that “Wai Ndai” Challenge is just one way of celebrating 24 years of serving Kenya.
This initiative is part of their broader “Sambaza Furaha” campaign, which includes various community engagement activities like customer delights, dealer engagements, Grow with Safaricom business clinics, and even free medical camps.
