CFAO Mobility Kenya Acquires TYDIA to Become the Official Distributor of Michelin and BF Goodrich Tires

CFAO Mobility Kenya has acquired Tyre Distribution Africa (TYDIA), becoming the official distributor of Michelin and BF Goodrich tires in East Africa.

This strategic acquisition emphasizes CFAO Mobility Kenya’s dedication to enhancing its automotive sector offerings and providing exceptional customer solutions across the region.

TYDIA, a key player in East African tire distribution, has established a reputation for delivering high-quality tire options that cater to diverse customer needs.

From passenger cars to commercial and construction vehicles, TYDIA’s portfolio has ensured faster delivery and product availability across all segments.

This acquisition positions CFAO Mobility Kenya to strengthen its distribution network, ensuring greater availability of Michelin and BF Goodrich tires across both wholesale and retail customer segments.

Additionally, plans are underway to enhance future product lines, further solidifying CFAO Mobility Kenya’s role as a trusted partner in the tire industry.

CFAO Mobility Kenya Managing Director, Arvinder Reel, highlighted the significance of this milestone stating: “This acquisition is a transformative step in our journey to redefine automotive solutions in East Africa, as the appointed distributors for Michelin and BF Goodrich tires in Kenya. The new Tyre Department at CFAO Mobility Kenya will aim to tap into new customer segments, leveraging the expertise and product innovation from the respective OEMs, offering seamless service to customers and partners.

Through this acquisition, the company stated that it is reaffirming its commitment to providing innovative and high-quality mobility solutions tailored to Kenya’s diverse terrain and driving conditions.

“Our customers can expect the same exceptional service they’ve come to trust, now reinforced by CFAO Mobility Kenya’s extensive network and expertise,” Mr. Reel added.

As CFAO Mobility Kenya embarks on this new chapter, it noted it remains dedicated to fostering long-term relationships with stakeholders, empowering customers with superior products, and contributing to the growth of the tire industry in Kenya and beyond.
