Known for global hits like “Unavailable” and “Assurance,” Davido expressed his excitement about the partnership, emphasizing its ability to drive positive change.

“I’ve always believed in using my platform to uplift my fans and community. Partnering with Spiro feels right; switching to electric saves money, protects our planet, and honestly, it’s fresh. Together, we’re bringing new energy to Africa,” he stated.

Spiro’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Kaushik Burman also underscored the significance of this collaboration, pointing to Davido’s strong influence and shared values.

Spiro has already made a substantial impact on the African mobility sector. The company stated it currently has over 22,000 electric bikes on the road, covering more than 300 million emission-free kilometers across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and Rwanda.

Additionally, Spiro’s innovative battery-swapping technology allows riders to conveniently exchange batteries at designated stations, further enhancing accessibility.

This collaboration also coincides with the highly anticipated launch of Davido’s new album, “5IVE,” slated for early 2025.

To maximize the partnership’s reach, Davido’s creative director, Kayode “Tycoone” Umardeen, will work closely with Spiro’s team to craft dynamic campaigns that merge innovation with cultural influence.
