Safaricom has introduced its newest customer promotion, titled ‘Data Dabo Dabo,’ aimed at enhancing customer value by offering free data bundles.
The three-month initiative, running until 23rd April 2025, features a ‘Buy One Get One Free’ deal on selected data bundles, allowing customers to enjoy extended browsing at no additional charge.
The telco noted that this campaign acknowledges the evolving digital needs of customers, particularly the increasing dependence on the internet and the widespread use of smartphones for daily activities such as communication, entertainment, and accessing information.

Customers can participate by purchasing designated bundles under the ‘Data Dabo Dabo’ offer via the mySafaricom App, USSD *544#, or any other Safaricom short code. Once the purchase is completed, an equivalent amount of free data will be automatically credited to the customer’s account.

The free daily data bundles are valid until midnight on the purchase date, allowing customers ample time to utilize their bonus data.
Designed for individual use, the bundles are non-transferable and cannot be shared with others.
Additionally, the bonus data can be used for unrestricted internet browsing. Whether customers wish to stream videos, access social media platforms, conduct online research, or shop digitally, the data is available to support diverse browsing needs.
Customers can check their purchased bundle balance, including free data, through *544# or the mySafaricom app.
The promotion is available to both Pre-Pay and Post-Pay Safaricom customers.
